I feel bad for devs going this route, like Codemasters and Remedy E. I don't know, but maybe their financial situation isn't the best in the market to stay independent-like, so they partnered with the GFWL brand, another welcome thing from Microsoft (Today I just got banned somewhere, by saying that I'm sorry for Alan Wake being only for the Microsoft console platform, and wishing not so good sales for them hehehe, Oh they really want the PC market to flourish, reallyyy). They dropped support and patching for OFP: Dragon Rising just after a few months after release. And as Navagon said, Codemasters really don't care much about patches and community. Seeing it bundled with GFWL really dropped my interest in acquiring this game, really. I didn't knew of the GFWL adoption until the other day, when I read it at the bottom of their site. ![]() Sorry for turning this thread to GFWL bashing thread BTW. ![]() I played F1 2010 and had to give up on it due to game-breaking bugs. I think publishers are learning GFWL is a disease except Codemasters. F1 Race Stars is coming soon Seeing as how Sony and MS are pretty much following in. ![]() Mafia 2 will not use it, Fallout: New Vegas won't use it. Acare84: Only F1 2010 game is using GFWL this year.
